Welcome to Board Archive!
My name is TJ Kern, and through Board Archive my goal is to provide you with detailed, objective, on-snow snowboard reviews to help make sure you get the most out of your next snowboard. By combining high quality video and detailed written reviews my goal is to provide a free resource to assist you with selecting the right board for you.
I learned to snowboard on the east coast in North Carolina over 16 years ago, and have been lucky enough to travel and learn so much during that time. I also have an interest in math and hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
Growing up I enjoyed riding and progressing in the terrain park. I've spent a lot of time and focus building the skill set I currently have on my snowboard, and loved going through the ups and downs of that process. Through the friendships I was able to make and the good times had along the way, snowboarding has become a lifelong passion for me.
One summer several years ago I was in Whistler, BC snowboarding on the Horstman Glacier when I was introduced by a mutual friend to Kevin Pearce, who is the creator of SnowboardProCamp. We became good friends and have teamed up to build Board Archive and fill what we believe is a gap in the snowboard community.
I hope you all enjoy this website, and that it is able to act as a resource for you while selecting your next board. See what we're up to by following us on social media, and if you have any feedback or questions please reach out. We aim to continue growing season after season, expanding the archive of snowboards for your enjoyment.
